Mr Rahul Jagannathan had appeared before the family court on behalf of the Wife. The family court based on an application filed by the wife had struck off the defence of the husband owing to non-payment of maintenance arrears and had allowed the petition seeking appropriate relief without giving an opportunity to the husband to participate or conduct trial.
